Friday Final Ratings: Chuck's Highest Viewing of Season

A combination of a visit to a nudist colony, an appearance by Danny Pudi from Community, and lack of original scripted competition appears to have bumped Chuck up to its highest ratings of its fifth and final season for several demographic groups.



Chuck DID have its highest ratings for Men 18-49, Men 18-34, and Adults 50+. Women 18-49 was about the same as the last airing. Total viewers were about 260,000 higher than the season premiere.

The infusion of older viewers--older-skewing CBS replaced Gifted Man with kiddie shows--did drive Chuck to what is almost certainly its oldest median age ever.

One wonders if Chuck can maintain this momentum. Competition continues to be repeats and holiday specials. Much buzz was generated among Chuck fans about the Xmas episode in a few weeks.

Grimm's Adult 18-49 rating was about the same as its last Friday outing, but with a very different male/female split.
