Week of 11/14: Fringe Blows Away Competition for Time-shifting Crown

It may not have blown away Head Geek Furious, but the "Wallflower" episode of Fringe got a humongous lift in ratings beyond Live + same day of over 70%. Here are the top ten shows for the week based on percentage increase in rating from Live + same day to Live + 7 days.

NBC's Friday night Grimm continued to get a strong 60% lift. The canceled Prime Suspect was a surprise inclusion in the top ten.

Other geek favorites that didn't make the top ten were Chuck with a 42% increase (0.91 to 1.29) and Community with a 43% increase (1.62 to 2.31).

While Chuck's 1.29 is still weak, it's a tad higher than the really low second episode of the current season which got a 1.18 Live + 7 rating.

Reminder: While Live + 7 ratings may be an indication of viewer interest, advertisers only pay for viewers who watch the ads in the show withing three days--the infamous "C3" ratings that rarely get published.

Reminder 2: Our site shows ratings to two decimal points while others only do their calculations based on one. Thus, our percentages are different from theirs, but more precise. When those other sites round Fringe's ratings, for instance, the percentage increase will be deceptively lower.
